The Flaming Lips - Seven Nation Army (White Stripes cover) (Live at Big Day Out 2004)

I used to go to Big Day Out religiously, even if the lineup was rubbish. Nowadays it would take a pretty special lineup to make me go again, like if The Flaming Lips played again. This cover is so much better than the original.

You know what was the best thing about The Flaming Lips at Big Day Out 2004? All the shirtless Southen Cross branded meatheads and co flocked to see Metallica. I strolled to the Green Stage to see the end of Magic Dirt, probably for the 5th time that year, and when the crowd dispersed at the end of their set, I mosied on to pretty much the first row, if not for this massive Samoan dude. But he ended being a swell guy who was mega-excited and kept yelling out for Wayne.
