“Transparent ALUMINUM?”

shetoldmesomemore:chfdigital:nickmcglynn:

This happens at Gawker all the time, since our conference rooms are made of glass…

I love how people always say “Oh, i thought the door was open there” Oh really? Because i thought you deliberately slamed your face into the glass!

There goes my idea that Gawker hires only the best and the brightest…cough.

hahahaha.. for real. when i first moved down to s.florida, it took a while for me to adjust to things like sliding glass doors. i mean, we had them in bama, but not everywhere.

so, for quite some time, at almost every party i attended, i was the one who would drunkenly walk into them. and often more than once or twice.

to be fair, i was far behind in getting my eyes checked, and so my contacts weren’t helping as they should, but still. later i learned that people were making bets on whether i’d do it each time i walked outside, as i never seemed to do it on the way back in.

now that i think of it, why was that?
